Doctor of Chiropractic
Chiropractic
Nate Patocchi, DC is deeply driven by a devotion to love through service and understands that real healing begins on the inside and works its way out. He will create an experience pricesely tailored to you using a combination of modalities such as: guided breathing, directed awareness, postural positioning, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, gentle cranial holds, stretches, reiki and traditional chiropractic adjustments to release patterns of stress and tension. As you unwind you will be welcomed more deeply over time into your natural state of health and wellbeing. The result is a greater sense of harmony within as well as with the people and world around you.
Nate has stated, “I operate under the guise of a vitalistic philosophy and understand healing to be the natural consequence of a deeper attunement to ones nature. What I help people resolve are the conflicts within themselves by securely adjusting them to what is most natural. As tension unwinds in the neurospinal system people meet themselves on a deeper level, cultivate more inner peace and naturally move through dis-ease with a sense of empowerment. As an ideal to work towards - total health is not an achieved condition of the body or mind but the state of absolute harmony between the awareness and embodiment of ones being. When the realization of our true nature arises we naturally experience a shift in pain and symptoms.”
Nate also has a great passion for movement and exercise and holds a BS in Exercise Physiology from CSU Chico. He has over a decade of studying functional movement and exercise, and deep insight into joint function and biomechanics. Combining this with years of a deeply meditative study of the mechanics of mind, Nate has a vast knowledge of the relationship between mind and body that he skillfully incorprates into his healing practice.
My Journey
A Solo Path to Healing
My yearning to assist others in healing emerged from a childhood faced with dis-ease and injury. I was born with very chronic asthma and allergies, and as a young child I vividly remember having to be hooked up to machines just to sleep and my eyes swelling up so badly in the spring that I could not see a thing! I have faced countless surgeries, broken bones, had multiple ligament tears and sprains, horibble burn injuries, cut open eyeballs and to top it off a blood and lung condition that nearly took my life. I have healed through many different ailments and challenging physical and emotional conditions which have given me a deep understanding of how to work with others. I have taken these experiences as opportunities to develop more compassion for others in pain and discomfort.
From my own extraordinary healing experiences I have been given a very deep understanding of the body's innate ability to heal. I have learned how to transmute my injuries, heart-break and dis-ease into fuel for my own conscious evolution. It is my calling to help others do the same. I do not only wish to help free others from what is holding them back in life whether it be physical, mental/emotional or spiritual in nature, but I want to provide others greater opportunity and potential for experiencing deeper levels of peace, love and joy within themselves. In turn, I wish to cultivate that for myself through service to all. May this be a reminder that love is not something we need to earn or work for but rather it is our birthright as human beings. Let us all realize this for ourselves!
Compassion at Heart
“When we relate to life with genuine love and understanding it meets us back with kindness. Until we begin to cultivate this capacity we will continue to be met by the outside world with the same tension we hold within ourselves. In order to dissolve the outer conflicts of the world we must discover how to soften around the tension within ourselves so that it can be let go. This practice is exactly what I facilitate for individuals through the inner framework of body and mind. When we can meet our tension in a loving manner it will naturally dissolve. This dissolution of inner conflict I understand to be the necessary foundation upon which a truly thriving community comes about”
